Meet Jodie
Jodie is the lead vocalist of 24 South, bringing energy, personality and a genuine love of country music to every performance. With a professional background in Musical Theatre, she trained in singing, dance and acting, developing the confidence and stage presence that shine through in every show.
Since completing her training, Jodie has spent the last three years performing at pubs, private parties, weddings and live events across the UK. Having been on stage more times than she can count, she feels most at home in front of a crowd, whether it's an intimate venue or a lively festival audience.
Country music has always been a passion of hers, and she loves bringing that enthusiasm to every performance with 24 South. As the duo's lead singer, she also adds harmonica throughout the set to help create the band's signature sound. Away from the duo, Jodie enjoys playing guitar and continues to develop her musicianship alongside her live performances. Her favourite part of performing is seeing people singing along, dancing and making memories through live music.
Paul is the guitarist and joint vocalist of 24 South, bringing a lifetime of musical experience and a genuine passion for live performance to every show. Having played guitar and sung in bands for many years, he has developed the versatility and musicianship that help define the duo's distinctive sound.
Alongside his guitar playing, Paul adds rhythm with a stomp box, helping create the full, high-energy feel that makes 24 South sound much bigger than a duo. Sharing lead vocals throughout the set as well as singing harmonies, his gravelly, distinctive voice perfectly complements Jodie's, adding depth and variety across both classic and modern country favourites.
For Paul, music has always been about the enjoyment of performing and connecting with an audience. Whether it's a wedding, a live music venue or a country festival, he loves creating memorable performances that get people singing along, dancing and enjoying every moment.
